Did you know?
That when your lips turn purple it is time to come out of the water for awhile!
Why are seagulls called seagulls?

Because if they flew over the bay, they'd be called bagels!
Did you know?
The minnows are not really biting you, the are diving at their food and missing it! They eat little bits of food in the sand you kick up. Well, okay, sometimes they do take a nibble, but they don't eat much. :D

Minnow Bait Recipe

Do this first thing in morning or the night before you go fishing.

Put 1 cup of flour in a bowl

Mixing with your fingers, add water until gooey and sticky Be sure to get flour on your face, clothes, hair, and Mom (Dad too!) then you can go swimming to clean up!

Add the dough to your minnow trap and throw in the water (make sure it is tied to the dock first). Wait a few hours and you will have minnows for fishing! (Have Mom or Dad bait your hook!)
